Grade 2 - cityscapes

Grade 2 students discussed the difference between landscapesand cityscapes.  They also learned about the spaces in an image that the artist creates- foreground, middle ground and background.

They creates cityscapes using their imaginations and then add bright colors with oil pastels.   Last step-  black paint over entire piece of art.

Grade 1 - silly suns

A fun end of the year painting activity.   First grade students drew suns with silly faces, outlined in black crayon then painted with watercolor (crayon/wax resist).
